How Does The Rotary Cutting Work?
♦ Rotary Cutting Station accurately and continuously cuts distinct product shapes out of a single dough sheet. An integrated conveyor system moves the product through – and is pressured against – a rotating die assembly.
♦ Designed with two or more die rolls for complex shape production or used independently for different products on the same line.
Operators can adjust the pressure on the dough sheet during operation to ensure a thorough cut and consistent piece production.
♦ A pair of engraved die rolls to emboss then cut pieces from the continuous sheet of dough received from the gauge rolls.
Features of The Rotary Cutter Station
♦ Double roller for faster change over the mold shape
Integrated scrap removal system may be mounted on the discharge end of the machine.
♦ Scrap dough can be discharged and re-routed to the dough handling system for reuse.
♦ Die rolls can be engraved bronze, coated metals, or plastic cups
♦ Automatic control of roll speeds and discharge conveyor speeds
♦ Cascade control structure for synchronization with adjacent equipment to maintain dough sheet characteristics and optimize product quality
♦ A local touchscreen interface terminal can be mounted on the machine
♦ Mechanically secured and electronically interlocked guards around cutting and conveyor rolls
♦ Cutting roll guards are designed for ease of inspection during production
♦ Transfer conveyors have integrated belt scrapers
♦ Web and edge scrap removal during production
